Thursday - 6:30PM - The ARC (GCU)

Our most popular session!
Meet from 6:15PM. Setting at 6:30PM

What to expect
Arrive at The ARC, sign in and get ready. A member of the committee cover announcements before the group warm-up. We then split into groups for each run.

We offer runs which are suitable for all abilities, led by Jog Scotland qualified Jog Leaders. The routes change weekly to keep things interesting. We typically offer the following runs on a Thursday:

  • Runs with a pace to suit the group : 5km, 7.5km, and 10km.

  • Runs with a specific pace: 7.5km (45mins), 10km (65, 60, 55, 50, and 45 minute options)

Jog Leaders make sure everyone in the group is looked after, and that the group run at the right pace.

These are social runs with runners chatting for most of the route. During the run, the Jog Leaders will stop take a group photo (which you can opt out of) to share on social media. After the run, the jog leader will finish with a cool down.

We have a monthly social the first Thursday of each month. This is a great opportunity to meet other members and reward yourself some food and drink after the run!
